Dr. Pandya began his quest of providing optimum quality dental care in 1999. When he and his wife Hemina Pandya founded Pandya Dental Care in New Hyde Park, patients immediately fell in love with the comforting family-style dental practice they had developed.
Over the years, Dr. Pandya has participated in many continuing education courses to further his knowledge of dentistry. In addition to general dentistry, Pandya Dental Care now offers orthodontic, cosmetic, periodontic, endodontic, and implant procedures.

Hemina received her dental degree in India in 1993 and was a practicing dentist there for 7 years. In 2001, she moved to the United States and founded Pandya Dental Care with Dr. Amit Pandya.
Since then, she has been working tirelessly as the office manager to ensure maximum efficiency and patient satisfaction at Pandya Dental Care.
Hemina is the backbone of our practice; her expertise and understanding of the field of dentistry is unparalleled.

Reena has been a Dental Hygienist at Pandya Dental Care for more than two years. She chose the field of dental hygiene because it offers the perfect blend of healthcare, education, and personal interaction. Naturally detail-oriented, she thrives in structured, clinical environments while also valuing the chance to form meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. In her role as a dental hygienist, she is able to apply her clinical skills while building trust and connection with people of all ages. Looking ahead, she aspires to bring her experience full circle by teaching the next generation of dental hygienists.

When the team works seamlessly together, care becomes smoother, interactions feel more natural, and patients leave more comfortable, engaged, and eager to return. Sharon has been a Dental Hygienist at Pandya Dental Care since 2018. She takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits, creating a calm and positive experience for everyone she treats. Sharon believes dental care goes beyond cleanings—it’s about building trust, understanding each patient’s unique needs, and fostering lasting relationships through compassionate care.
Passionate about education and prevention, she enjoys empowering patients to take charge of their oral health so they can maintain healthy, beautiful smiles for life. Sharon feels fortunate to work alongside a supportive and patient-focused team that shares her dedication to exceptional care and community well-being.

Merve has been working as a receptionist at Pandya Dental Care for more than four years and is currently pursuing studies in dental hygiene with the goal of becoming a licensed dental hygienist. Her passion lies in providing quality care, educating patients on oral health, and helping create positive dental experiences.
Her favorite part about working at Pandya Dental Care is being part of such a supportive and professional team. She finds it inspiring to work alongside colleagues who are deeply passionate about patient care. Merve also feels fortunate that Pandya Dental Care invests in her personal and professional growth through constant guidance, mentorship, and training that strengthen the team’s collective skills.
In addition to her daily responsibilities, Merve helped launch the internship program at Pandya Dental Care, creating opportunities for students to gain valuable hands-on experience in the dental field. Contributing to this initiative has been a rewarding way for her to give back while continuing to grow alongside the team.
Antoun is a Dental Assistant at Pandya Dental Care, where he works alongside Dr. Pandya on a wide range of procedures and manages much of the lab work. He operates the practice’s 3D printer to create retainers, night guards, and process surgical guides—hands-on experience that has significantly deepened his knowledge of modern dentistry.
Currently completing his bachelor’s degree in biology, Antoun will be starting dental school next fall. Being part of such a skilled and supportive team has taught him valuable lessons and prepared him for the next step in his journey toward becoming a dentist.
In addition to his clinical and lab responsibilities, Antoun helps Pandya Dental Care stay current with social media outreach and manages the back-end technologies that enhance patient care. These efforts not only keep the practice connected with the community but also ensure the office continues to provide care with the most advanced systems available.
